Healthcare Innovation Programs

in

The ASU College of Nursing and Health Innovation is a very special and different place, evidenced by its name. Like many colleges throughout the country, we have a goal to offer the highest quality of academic, research and clinical practice programs to produce graduates who will be the best clinicians, teachers and researchers. However, we are distinctly different from other colleges in some very important ways.

Academic Programs

in

The College of Nursing and Health Innovation is an integral part of the New American University. The College offers a unique array of interprofessional degree programs that span nursing, nutrition, exercise and wellness, and continuing education programs. These programs utilize hands-on learning, technology and clinical-based application and transdisciplinary thinking.

Nursing and Health Innovation Research

in

The range of our faculty research in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation is as broad as it is diverse.

Active nursing research projects range from child obesity among young children to Spanish Translation and Validation of Sleep Measures to mental and behavioral problems among children of Chinese immigrants to removing barriers to exercise and physical activity among older Hispanic women. Many of our initiatives are intended to reduce the higher incidences of health disparities among minority populations in the Southwest, including Arizona.
