Nursing and Health Innovation Buildings - Parking Information
We want to make your visit to the Nursing and Health buildings enjoyable. However, we need to alert you that parking near our location can be challenging.
Parking under the Nursing and Health Innovation building (NHI1) is available to permit holders only. Permits are sold at the Downtown Phoenix Campus Cashiering Office, 1st floor in University Center, Room 112, across from the lobby elevators. Please bring your vehicle information, photo ID and method of payment (cash or check). More information.
Visitor Parking
- Metered Parking
Due to construction in the downtown area, metered parking may be intermittently unavailable. Parking meters (8) are available on Taylor Street directly across from the main entrance to the Nursing and Health Innovation (NHI-1) Building and ASU Health Center at the cost of $1.50 per hour, 2 hour maximum. Parking meters are also available on 2nd and 3rd Streets east and west of the NHI buildings. These meters require coins on weekdays from 8 am - 8 pm. The meters currently are free weekdays after 8 pm and all day on weekends and holidays. The City of Phoenix closely monitors the meters (and enforces payment of parking-violation fines). It is your responsibility to pay all parking tickets and fines associated with their use.
- Parking Lot (in between Nursing Buildings)
The parking lot between NHI1 and NHI2 is now open for visitor parking. There is a pay here machine on the Southeast corner of the lot. The cost is $3 for 1-3 hours. Largest bill accepted is a $10 dollar bill and the machine also accepts Visa and MasterCard. The gate is now open for entry.
- ASU Visitor Parking Garage
The ASU Downtown Phoenix campus Visitor Parking Garage is located east of the University Center Building, 411 N. Central Avenue, two blocks west of the NHI Building. The Visitor Parking garage is open to the public from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., Mon.– Fri. The charge is $3 per hour or $12 per day.
- The Arizona Center Parking Facility - 5th Street and Fillmore
The entrance to the parking garage is on 5th Street, north of Van Buren. $10 maximum per day. Map and Directions
