Nursing and Health Innovation Building Dedication

Nov. 10, 9 a.m.
550 N 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004
As evidence of the strong partnership between Arizona State University and the City of Phoenix, the new NHI2 Building was built with funds from the 2006 bond campaign approved by Phoenix voters. Construction of the five-story, 84,000 square foot building was completed in 15 months. The new building provides additional and much needed ASU classrooms for ASU’s newest and fastest growing campus and its four colleges. The building features an auditorium which can seat 200 and has leading-edge technology. Plans call for floors 4 and 5 to be completed for the College during the next 12-18 months. ASU President Michael M. Crow, Mayor Phil Gordon, members of Phoenix City Council and the Arizona Board of Regents, and Dean Bernadette Melnyk will preside at the formal dedication ceremonies. In addition, Healthy Arizona 2020, a unique health promotion and prevention initiative, will be previewed at the ceremonies. Kindly RSVP for the Dedication at eventrsvp@asu.edu or (480) 965-2116 Followed by tours featuring health education "pit" stops conducted by faculty and students
