Evidence-Based Practice at the College
At ASU's College of Nursing and Health Innovation, a culture of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is fostered through our academic programs for the purpose of improving healthcare and providing outstanding learner-centered, evidence-based and innovative academic and continuing education programs.
EBP facilitates the integration of internal evidence (i.e., quality and outcome data), external evidence (i.e., research) and practice across multiple settings to improve patient, provider, community, and system outcomes. Our faculty at the College prepares practitioners for the implementation of EBP in their clinical practice through building knowledge and skills by synthesizing and disseminating evidence through scholarly practice.
The ASU Center for the Advancement of Evidence-based Practice is in transition. Our new Health Solutions is an interdisciplinary group of providers who are interested in optimal health. We have new initiatives and opportunities to learn about making an impact on health and healthcare and encourage you to check back to our website frequently to find your best match. Should you have questions, please contact Susan Stillwell, Susan.Stillwell@asu.edu. We appreciate your patience with us while we transition and look forward to working with you to optimize health and healthcare.
