We are bombarded daily by the latest news on healthcare reform. The debate rages on and it is truly anyone’s guess regarding the final outcome.
There are at least two good things that have resulted from the discussions, including the recognition of the spiraling shortage of primary care providers in the U.S., and the acknowledgement that nurse practitioners (NPs) can play a key role in reducing the shortage. Dean Melnyk's Message
