Description of Services
Using a health-focused model, our staff members deliver primary health services with the goal to promote, maintain, and/or regain optimal health. That optimal state of health is different for different people. Our staff can provide:
- Checkups for routine health care and evaluation of minor illnesses and health problems.
- Health screening based on your personal lifestyle and family health history.
- Personal advice and educational programs to help you become and stay healthy.

Fees
ASU Health Center participates in the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) University Student Health Insurance Plan (Aetna)
ASU Health Center has applied to be part of the network for many major health insurance plans so that patients can use their health insurance to pay for services. Please ask which plans are accepted at the time you make your appointment.
Patients may also pay cash, use a credit card, Sun Card or have their Student account charged for the cost of the services they receive.
Breaking the Cycle Community Health Care
Family Planning Services:
- Physical exams for men, women, and adolescents
- Well-women check-ups that include Pap smears and breast exams
- Birth control to meet each client's needs
- Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- HIV risk assessment and testing
- Pregnancy testing
- Referral to primary/specialty care and social services
- Infertility screening and counseling
The staff at Breaking the Cycle use a holistic approach in caring for the health of clients.
Breaking the Cycle provides all clients with risk reduction counseling and comprehensive health educational services.
Community Health Services Clinic
Description of Services
Utilizing a nursing model of healthcare, clinic nurse practitioners and staff deliver primary health services to individuals from infancy to old age. The services are intended to promote, maintain, and/or regain wellness. The following services are available:
Adult and Child Health
- General physical exams
- Treatment of minor illnesses
- Monitoring of stable chronic conditions
- Immunizations
Women's Health Exam
- Clinical breast and gynecological exam
- Referral for mammograms
Other Services
- Vision and hearing screening
- Tuberculosis Skin Test
- Sexually Transmitted Disease Testing
- Referrals
- Outreach Services in the Community
Fees
CHS accepts commercial insurance plans and Medicare & AHCCCS. We also offer a discount fee program for uninsured and people with high deductable health insurance plans.
