College Council of Nursing Students

The College Council of Nursing Students (CCNS) is an official organization for all ASU Tempe Campus nursing students. All pre-nursing, professional program and graduate students enrolled, automatically become members of the organization with no cost to the student.
Purpose:
- Provide cooperation, understanding, and direct lines of communication among undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and the administration of the College of Nursing at ASU.
- Provide and assign direct lines of responsibility and accountability for the effective handling of CCNS, Graduate Nurse Organization, Nursing Students of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity and the Student Nurses' Association of Arizona.
- Conduct elections for CCNS executive officers; and,
- Provide nursing students scholarships semi-annually through the sale of equipment for clinical nursing courses and other fundraising activities.
