Graduate Nurse Organization

Purpose:
The purpose of the Graduate Nurse Organization (GNO) is to provide a platform for communication, cooperation, and understanding between the students and faculty, to provide direct lines of responsibility to effectively handle all College of Nursing graduate student affairs and to promote quality graduate education.
Goals:
- The provision of an orientation program for incoming graduate students;
- Graduate student representation on various college and university committees;
- The provision of a community service project;
- The provision of scholarship opportunities to graduate nursing students; and,
- The provision of additional learning experiences through guest lecturers and conferences.
Membership
All graduate students enrolled in the Master's or Doctoral program at Arizona State University College of Nursing and Health Innovation are eligible for voting membership upon payment of dues to GNO for that specific academic year.
Meetings and or social activities are held every other month. Meeting times and location will be disseminated via Blackboard.
