Nursing Students for Cultural and Ethnic Diversity (NSCED)

Purpose:
To enhance support, socialization, recruitment and retainment strategies for culturally diverse prenursing and nursing students.
- Provide a formal group for culturally diverse prenursing and nursing students to support each other through nursing school.
- Promote a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences faced by racial/ethnic minority students.
- Establish understanding and appreciation of the challenges faced by racial/ethnic minority students.
- Develop strategies to recruit and retain racial/ethnic minority students.
- Develop projects to educate the public about nursing.
- Enhance cohesiveness through social interaction.
Membership is FREE and open to all Pre-Nursing, Nursing, or Graduate Nursing Students at ASU. We recruit throughout the school year.
