The College of Nursing and Health Innovation is an integral part of the New American University. The College offers a unique array of interprofessional degree programs that span nursing, nutrition, exercise and wellness, and continuing education programs. These programs utilize hands-on learning, technology and clinical-based application and transdisciplinary thinking. As a student in our College, you have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in your chosen field through class projects, laboratory experience, community and industry based placements, clinical training, and research activities.

If you are unsure about which of our health majors is right for you, the College is a great place to begin your ASU education and discover your academic and career interests. Our advisors are always available to help you find the degree program that is right for you. Our talented and accomplished faculty and staff are dedicated to your success.

Students studying in the College learn many other skills to enhance human interaction and problem solving: communications; leadership and society; ethics; global awareness; critical thinking; information literacy; science and technology; and quantitative reasoning. These skills are essential for success in the workplace and to personally function at a high level in society.

New courses are being added every semester. In addition, course schedules are designed to meet the needs of all students: traditional face-to-face classes, internet/online courses, and hybrids, which combined in-person and online instruction.
