Community and Public Health Practice
Purpose:
The purpose of the Graduate Certificate Program in Community and Public Health Practice is to provide a curriculum which will prepare post Bachelor of Science individuals, who currently work in community or public health or other relevant fields, to solve public health problems and apply a breadth of knowledge and expertise in the community.
Many public health professionals in Arizona have a degree in other fields but need the basic public health knowledge offered by this graduate certificate program. The graduate certificate in community and public health practice is for non-degree seeking students and is open to both nursing and non-nursing students.
