Nursing Residential Community

The Nursing Residential Community (NRC) is a living and learning program designed exclusively for Nursing majors within the College of Nursing and Health Innovation. The Nursing Residential Community provides opportunities for students to interact with peers, faculty, and advisors through academic and social programming in their residence hall. The Nursing Residential Community is housed within Taylor Place at the Downtown Phoenix campus.

The mission of the Nursing Residential Community is to assist students in exploring their academic
DREAMS by DISCOVERING nursing through the DELIVERY of interactive student-centered programming.

  • Interact with a nursing faculty member, an academic advisor, and student peer mentors
    dedicated to your community and to helping you succeed at ASU

  • Have dinner with faculty and attend sporting and cultural events with fellow residents

Requirements:

  • Residents will be placed within the community on a “first come-first-served” basis
  • Residents must confirm University Housing preferences in order to be placed within the community
  • Residents must be full-time incoming freshman majoring in nursing during the academic year
  • Applicants must be willing to engage academically and socially with the community
