The Student Services Office in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation provides academic advising for those interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN). Our professional academic advisors and staff are committed to providing students with quality academic advising and student services. All students admitted to ASU in a major other than nursing, and those attending other colleges or universities, must attend an Information Session for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) before being able to meet one-on-one with an academic advisor in our college.
Students who already have RN licensure who are interested in the RN to BSN program should contact that office.
Student Services Office Provides:
- Orientation and registration sessions for newly admitted freshmen
- The following services for students continuing at ASU in the College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation:
- Official transcript evaluation
- Undergraduate degree requirement information
- Registration and enrollment information
- Registration clearance
- Problem-solving strategies for academic difficulties
- Campus resource referrals
- Student advocacy for understanding policies and procedures
- Advancement Workshops for the Upper Division Nursing program (BSN)
- For students admitted to ASU in another major and for those not yet admitted to ASU
- REQUIRED: Information Session for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). After attending workshop:
- Unofficial transcript evaluation for students not yet admitted to ASU
- Assistance in selecting equivalent courses from other colleges or universities to transfer to ASU
