CHPDP Faculty Named Interim Director of Edson College PhD Program

- July 22, 2020
The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention would like to congratulate Kelly Cue Davis for her new role as interim director of the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation PhD Program. Dr. Davis joined the college and center in 2017 from the University of Washington. As interim director, she will continue to advance the PhD program, which is one of the few interdisciplinary PhD programs in nursing in the U.S.
“I am excited to serve as interim PhD Program Director for Edson College. As we continue to grapple with the global pandemic of COVID-19 as well as other critical healthcare concerns, interdisciplinary research and scholarship in nursing and healthcare innovation is imperative,” stated Davis. “I look forward to collaborating with our faculty, staff, and doctoral students to ensure the continued success of the Edson College PhD Program.”
Edson College faculty researcher and associate professor, Shannon Dirksen, will serve as interim assistant director alongside Davis. Congratulations to both! For program information.
