Mary Ahern, MS Master of Science in Nutrition Mary completed her Master of Science in Nutrition. Her thesis, entitled "Microbial Diversity in the Gut Microbiome in Relation to Weight Gain of Freshman Adolescents at Arizona State" (mentor: Dr. Corrie Whisner). As a graduate student, Mary worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Sunny Kim where she assisted in coordinating multiple projects. After graduation she will begin her dietetic internship at Native Health in Phoenix. |

Ciera Babbrah, BS Bachelor of Science in Biology and Society Ciera completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Society and completed her thesis, titled "Mental Health of Sikh American Adolescents: A Thematic Literature Review," with the guidance of Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen. After graduation, she plans to work in public health research and obtain her Master's degree in Public Health. |

Abigail Beaman, BS Bachelor of Science in Nursing Abigail earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With the guidance of Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen and Dr. Ashish Amresh, she completed her thesis, titled "Development of a Game-Based Intervention to Promote HPV Vaccination Among Adolescents: A Qualitative Analysis." Abigail plans to work as an adult health medical-surgical registered nurse. |

Weiqi Chen, BS Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Minor in Psychology Weiqi earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. Through the guidance of Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen, Dr. Elizabeth Reifsnider, and Dr. SeungYong Han, she completed her honors thesis, titled "HPV and Vaccination: Knowledge, Attitudes, and Intention among Chinese International College Students," and plans to pursue a PhD in Nursing and Health Innovation at ASU starting this fall. |

Lourdes Estrada, BS Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition Lourdes completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and graduated from Barrett, the Honors College. Her thesis, titled "Effects of Lifestyle Intervention on Cardiorespiratory Fitness Among Latino Youth with Obesity and Prediabetes," was completed under the guidance of Dr. Gabe Shaibi. Lourdes plans to attend medical school to pursue a career as a physician. |

Shaelyn Fones, BS Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Minor in Psychology Shaelyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. Under the guidance of Drs. Angela Chia-Chen Chen and SeungYong Han, her Barrett Honors Thesis, titled “ COVID-19 and College Students: The Relationships among Fear of COVID-19, Preventative Behaviors, & Vaccination Intention,” and plans to obtain a job as a nurse in the emergency department after graduation. |

Amber Glisson, BS Bachelor of Science in Nursing Amber earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked as a research assistant for Dr. Angela Chen for two years, and completed her thesis, titled "The Effect of an HPV Educational Video on HPV Vaccination Intent Among Young Adults in the United States." Amber plans to be a telemetry nurse and later return for her Masters degree in Nursing. |

Lilly Hubschman-Shahar, DNP Doctor of Nursing Practice Lilly earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a concentration in innovation leadership. Her DNP project was titled “Telelactation Support: Comprehensive Universal Access to Skilled Lactation Care in a Pediatric Practice”. Lilly plans to apply her DNP education by pursuing a career in FemTech. |

Soojung Jo, PhD Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing and Health Innovation Soojung earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing and Health Innovation and successfully defended her dissertation, titled “Factors Affecting Compassion Fatigue Among Nurses During the Global COVID-19 Pandemic: Through a Socio-Ecological Lens,” under the mentorship of Drs. Elizabeth Reifsnider, Keenan Pituch, and Komal Singh. |

Annika Laufer, BS Bachelor of Science in Nursing Annika earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her Barrett Honor's thesis, "Discrimination & Psychosocial Health of Minority Nursing Staff amidst COVID-19," was completed with the guidance of Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen and Dr. Kathleen Fries. Annika begins her career this summer as a Neuro/Trauma/Ortho MedSurg nurse at HonorHealth Osborn and plans to become an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the future. |

Angela Chia-Chen Chen and SeungYong Han, she completed her thesis, titled “College Students’ Perceived Risk of COVID-19 Infection, Protective Behaviors, and Vaccination Intent.” Haley plans to work as an adult health medical-surgical nurse. |

Carra Montijo, DNP Doctor of Nursing Practice Carra earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and through the guidance of her mentor Dr. Elizabeth Reifsnider she completed her DNP project titled “Tongue-Tie Effect on Breastfeeding Outcomes.” Dr. Montijo looks forward to helping children lead healthy lives as a pediatric nurse practitioner. |

Anthony Ojeme, DNP Doctor of Nursing Practice Anthony completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice as a Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Under the mentorship of Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen, he completed his DNP Evidence-Based Project, titled Resilience-Oriented Education on Secondary Trauma: Impacts on Secondary Traumatic Stress Scores among Psychiatric Registered Nurses. Dr. Ojeme plans to continue to provide services to clients across the lifespan experiencing acute and chronic mental health disorders. |

Tracy Sloat, DNP Doctor of Nursing Practice Tracy earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice and will practice as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Oregon. Her project, "Mental Health Literacy of Parents: A Pathway to Treatment for Youth with Mental Health Disorders," was completed under the mentorship of Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen. |

Carly Wolsey, DNP Doctor of Nursing Practice Carly earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, with specialty focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Her doctoral project, "Prenatal Education to Address Vaccine Hesitancy," was completed with the guidance of her mentor, Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen. Dr. Wolsey plans to work as a nurse practitioner within the emergency department and looks forward to making a positive difference in her patients' lives. |
