Drs. Crista Johnson-Agbakwu (PI), Colleen Keller (CO-PI), and Flavio Marsiglia (Co-PI) have received a grant addressing Female Genital Cutting (FGC) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women's Health. This grant, titled "Enhancing Culturally-Informed Health Care Services for Women Affected by Female Genital Cutting in Arizona," is a first in the U.S. to focus on FGC. The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention would like to congratulate Dr. Keller, CHPDP faculty, and Drs. Johnson-Agbakwu and Marsiglia, both of the Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center, on their recent award!
