The College of Nursing and Health Innovation is honored to receive a bequest of $773,000 from Stella B. Donahie in late June. Stella, a retired nurse, wanted her estate to impact nursing students in her community, which will award $15,000 annually to four graduate students in the College of Nursing & Health Innovation. Stella commented, "I have memories of my early career having to work two jobs to assist in raising my family. With this endowment, I would like to alleviate, to some extent, the financial burden of tuition for graduate nursing students." Stella's generous contribution brings our total fundraising for FY16 to $1,768,000, a $267,000 increase over last year. We are tremendously grateful for Stella's generosity to CONHI students.
