The Director of the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and an Associate Professor,  Southwest Borderlands Scholar, Dr. Gabriel Shaibi, has been selected by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) to receive their Outstanding Service Award for the Promotion of Endocrine Health of an Underserved Population.
