Dr. Eyitayo “Tayo” Owolabi, a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, was selected to serve on the ASU Postdoc Council.  In this role, Dr. Owolabi will advise and assist the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs in ASU’s Graduate College with the planning and execution of activities dedicated to the welfare and professional development of postdocs.

Dr. Owolabi joined Edson’s Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in August of 2022 after completing her PhD in Nursing from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa. Her research aims to develop and test user-informed interventions to improve type 2 diabetes outcomes among underserved populations.
