Fiorella Carlos Chavez
Fiorella Carlos Chavez is an assistant professor. She applies qualitative and mixed-methodologies to understand the implications of culture, family and work-life related stressors on Latino migrant youth’ well-being. In 2020, Chavez received a COVID-19 Needs Assessment grant from the National Urban League; she’s focusing on the effects of stress and household food insecurity on Latinx youth and essential workers’ mental health.
