Dr. Michael LeGal started his nursing career over 25 years ago as a diploma RN in Manitoba, Canada. After moving to the US, he obtained his BSN and MSN-Ed while working in critical care and cardiac catheterization lab (9 years each). Currently, he is working as an education specialist for the cardiovascular service line at a large health care system in metro-Phoenix. He recently graduated with his Doctor in Nursing Practice - Health Care Quality (DNP-HCQ) from The George Washington University in 2018. Scholarly work include podium and poster presentations on health literacy, cardiac rehab and depression interventions (DNP project), and cath lab academy. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, hiking, playing piano, and movies.
