How You Make a Difference
Sun Devils at student-run health clinic SHOW compassion and desire to deliver care differently
SHOW opened its doors in the summer of 2015, thanks in large part to $50,000 in seed funding provided by the BHHS Legacy Foundation, which doubled as a challenge grant and inspired other gifts from the Phoenix IDA, the Diane and Bruce Halle Foundation, and Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care.
Innovative learning center prepares students for real-world experiences
Philanthropic support allows SLR to play a significant role in the student learning experiences and faculty training opportunities. Generous gifts have provided updated technology to enhance educational support, bolster teaching resources for faculty, and keep the College current with best practices.
Scholarships generate impact in classrooms, communities, and beyond
For PhD student Kenja Hassan, scholarships are so much more than just financial assistance. This support helps create a level of trust between the recipient and the donor that encourages students to grow beyond their limits, and push themselves as students and future leaders.
