Angela Chen

Biography
Angela Chia-Chen Chen (PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC) is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on developing and implementing tech-based interventions to address behaviors associated with HPV vaccination, HIV/STI, substance abuse and mental health issues in vulnerable populations including ethnic minority and immigrant youth and young adults. Professor Chen is also an affiliate faculty member with ASU Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center (SIRC), the https://sst.asu.edu/asian-pacific-american-studies at ASU. She served as a visiting professor with University of California-San Francisco's Center for AIDS Prevention Studies from 2011-2013.
