Biography

Angela Chia-Chen Chen (PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC) is an associate professor in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. Her research interests include HIV/STI and substance abuse prevention, and mental health issues among ethnic minority and immigrant youth, HPV vaccine promotion, cross-cultural research, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and instrument development/testing. 

Professor Chen is also an affiliate faculty member with ASU Southwest Interdisciplinary Research Center (SIRC), the Asian Pacific American Study Program at ASU. She served as a visiting professor with University of California-San Francisco's Center for AIDS Prevention Studies from 2011-2013.
