Biography

Jennie Bever Babendure is an assistant research professor in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation. Her research interests include obesity, inflammation, endocrine dysfunction and lactation outcomes, biological basis of lactation failure, coordination of care to protect maternal and child health in the early postpartum, women's health, maternal depression and anxiety and the use of social media to advance health advocacy campaigns. 

She hosts the blog Breastfeeding Science: where mothering and science collide.
