Jennifer Santerre

Biography

Jennifer Santerre works as a nurse practitioner as part of an integrated team approach with the patient-centered medical home model – patient’s get the expertise of several specialists all in one place. In addition, she teaches for Arizona State University in their Doctorate of Nursing Practice program. 

Professor Allen always knew she wanted to be in a career where she works with and helps people. Working in the healthcare field allows her to teach and interact with individuals on a daily basis. She loves working in women's health because she is able to teach students and patients when they are growing their families. She also enjoys being able to serve a diverse patient population, and has served the refugee population for many years.

She is the oldest of three siblings and born and raised in Arizona. She has a golden doodle named George and has completed multiple marathons and Ironman triathlon events.
