Biography

M. Margaret Calacci is a clinical assitant professor in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. She serves as the Director of the Simulation Learning Resources Center. As Director, she oversees systems operations, teaching and learning for approximately 80,000 student hours annually. Students in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation get hands-on experiential learning using deliberate proactice techniques to develop skills and simulation experience with minimal risk because the patients are either actors or high fidelity lifelike mannequins. In addition to the ablove responsibilities Ms.Calacci provides faculty coaching in her speicalty of simulation, mentoring and development of new nurse educators.

When away from ASU she enjoys her children, their dog and travel.
