A gift to the College of Nursing and Health Innovation is a meaningful way to demonstrate your commitment to improving the way health care is delivered and ensuring future health professionals are equipped to provide skilled and compassionate care. Your generous investment serves as a conduit to a health workforce of the highest quality and positive health outcomes for local, national, and global communities.
“Campaign ASU 2020 will position the College of Nursing and Health Innovation to have a deeper impact on local communities, a broader influence on a national scale and a vast global reach. All of these combined will ultimately help engage our partners and investors, inform decision makers and deliver health-related activities and programs that are responsive to the needs of diverse populations.”
Dean Teri Pipe
SHOW opened its doors in the summer of 2015, thanks in large part to $50,000 in seed funding provided by the BHHS Legacy Foundation, which doubled as a challenge grant and inspired other gifts from the Phoenix IDA, the Diane and Bruce Halle Foundation, and Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care.
Philanthropic support allows SLR to play a significant role in the student learning experiences and faculty training opportunities. Generous gifts have provided updated technology to enhance educational support, bolster teaching resources for faculty, and keep the College current with best practices.
For PhD student Kenja Hassan, scholarships are so much more than just financial assistance. This support helps create a level of trust between the recipient and the donor that encourages students to grow beyond their limits, and push themselves as students and future leaders.
