Homecoming

The College of Nursing and Health Innovation invites you to join in the Homecoming celebration.  From an ice cream social, to a tour of our simulation lab, an alumni reception and the long standing tradition of the ASU Homecoming parade and block party- there is something for everyone! Homecoming is one of the university's longest standing traditions and we look forward to the chance to welcome you back to campus.

Interested in volunteering at homecoming?

Homecoming Block Party – November 3, 2018 – Tempe Campus – Volunteer Opportunities

Time of Block Party to be determined 7-10 days before Homecoming (based game time determination)

First Aid Tent – Provide basic first aid.  EMT radio contact and backup on site.  Supplies and equipment provided.  Volunteers must be licensed RNs or physicians.   ASU employees and DNP students are covered for professional liability through the ASU Risk Management program. Others can be covered by ASU through the ASU Volunteer program.  Spend a few hours with amazing colleagues and have an excellent viewing point for the parade!

CONHI Tent – Represent CONHI by helping with set-up, handing out giveaways, chatting with potential, current, and former students, or talking about CONHI academic programs, research accomplishments and health-related initiatives with the public.  You will be amazed at how fun and rewarding it can be!

Blood Pressure Checks – Provide blood pressure checks at the CONHI tent to the public.  Supplies and equipment provided.  Irregular readings will be referred to the First Aid Tent for further evaluation.  Volunteers must be licensed RNs.

Please sign up to volunteer by 10/26/18 so we can provide you with more detailed information as it becomes available.
