Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for health care providers is for medical professionals who respond to cardiac emergencies in and out of the hospital setting. ACLS content will review and certify Basic Life Support (BLS) skills with an emphasis on American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines for responding to cardiac and respiratory arrest, acute arrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
This course is for first time ACLS participants and for previously ACLS certified individuals with an expired card. This is a two day AHA ACLS Healthcare Provider Course offered at the end of every semester.

All courses require two Healthcare Providers Student Manuals (BLS and ACLS). It is the student’s responsibility to obtain and read the information in the manual prior to the course and bring it with them to class.
