He presents research showing declines in mental and physical health among U.S. middle-aged adults. He compares global trends, concluding with future research directions to better understand midlife development across cultures.

Loneliness and Social Isolation Among Older Adults: Trends and Subgroup Differences Over Three Decades in Sweden " by Isabelle von Saenger, PhD student.

Isabelle von Saenger presents findings from a 30-year study on loneliness and social isolation among older adults in Sweden. The research explores trends and subgroup differences based on age, gender, education, mobility, and mental health. With loneliness increasingly recognized as a public health concern, this talk highlights its impact on well-being and the urgent need for targeted interventions as Sweden’s older population grows. All faculty, students, and staff are welcome.

ASU Digital Health Summit

ASU hosted its first Digital Health Summit, bringing together faculty, students, and experts to explore innovations in digital health. Attendees discussed AI, telehealth, wearable tech, and personalized medicine, focusing on brain, metabolic, and environmental health.
