Eastern Arizona College - ASU Baccalaureate Nursing Program

Eastern Arizona College (EAC) and ASU have partnered to offer a Baccalaureate Nursing Program at EAC.  This partnership offers the following:

  • Hybrid classes (face-to-face classes with an online component)
  • Qualified faculty from the Thatcher area 
  • Special, reduced tuition rates for the EAC students.

Prerequisite Courses

ENG 101 and ENG 102 (English Composition 1 and 2), BIO 201 and 201 (Human Anatomy and Physiology), BIO 205 (Microbiology), CHM 130 with lab (Chemistry), Psychology 101 (introduction to Psychology), FCR/HCE 241 (Nutrition), HCE 240 (Pathophysiology), NUR 105 (Road trip to Success recommended), Statistics

Course Duration

Students take courses over the semester while in Nursing 1-2-3-4. After earning the AAS in Nursing, the courses are offered in 7.5 week sessions.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the EAC pre-licensure nursing program

Minimum 3.00 select GPA in the prerequisite courses
