Getting Started

These information sessions are intended for incoming nursing students. Watch these videos and download the BSN Information Packet to learn more about the unique pathways to earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing at ASU.

Traditional Pre-Licensure or Post-Baccalaureate Clinical Nursing Program
Prospective students interested in the Traditional Pre-Licensure Clinical Nursing Program or the Post-Baccalaureate Clinical Nursing Program must attend a BSN Information Session on-campus or online before meeting with an academic advisor.



RN-BSN Program
This fully online program is for students who are already have a valid, unrestricted, and active Registered Nurse (RN) license. After graduation, students will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing for Arizona State University to accompany their existing Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Academic advising may be set up accordingly:
  • Registered Nurses that are interested in the RN-BSN program may e-mail an academic advisor directly.

Concurrent Enrollment Program
In partnership with several Arizona community colleges, this hybrid clinical nursing program utilizes in-person and online nursing coursework to earn an Associate of Applied Science from a partner community college while concurrently earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. After successful completion of the Associate of Applied Science portion of the program, students are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure..
  • Entry Times: Fall and Spring (varies based on community college)
  • Campus: Hybrid between ASU Online and the community college
