Student Research Opportunities Overview

The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (CHPDP) offers a variety of student research opportunities to gain mentored experience in the following activities:
- Understand theory behind health promotion and disease prevention
 - Clinical research laboratory experience
 - Data collection and statistical analysis
 - Delivery of health promotion interventions in the community
 - Study recruitment and enrollment

Requirements:
- Interest in health promotion and disease prevention among vulnerable populations
 - Spanish speaking students are strongly encouraged to apply
 - Minimum 2-semester lab commitment requirement (must have 2 or more remaining semesters in school)
