Student Research Opportunities Overview

The Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (CHPDP) offers a variety of student research opportunities to gain mentored experience in the following activities:

Understand theory behind health promotion and disease prevention
Clinical research laboratory experience
Data collection and statistical analysis
Delivery of health promotion interventions in the community
Study recruitment and enrollment

Requirements:

Interest in health promotion and disease prevention among vulnerable populations
Spanish speaking students are strongly encouraged to apply
Minimum 2-semester lab commitment requirement (must have 2 or more remaining semesters in school)
