Call for proposals
We invite faculty, staff, researchers and practitioners across Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, College of Health Solutions, the John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering, and the School of Technology for Public Health to submit proposals for the 2026 Impact Summit. This year's summit will explore how ASU Health can advance inclusive excellence, student success and community impact through innovative teaching, research and practice.
Who should apply?
- Faculty, staff or doctoral students who are advancing inclusion in their departments, classrooms or workspaces.
- Leaders of initiatives or projects that have fostered inclusive excellence and belonging.
Individuals or groups who are passionate about sharing practical solutions for creating more inclusive spaces.
Session types
- Impact Talks (15-20 minutes): TED Talk-style presentations highlighting a bold idea, research insight or transformative practice. This can be a great opportunity for faculty or doctoral students to present research in progress.
- Skills Lab (45 minutes): Hands-on, practical workshops designed to build specific skills, tools or strategies.
- Collaborative Roundtables (30 minutes): Facilitated group discussions exploring questions or challenges related to access, belonging or health innovation.

- Access and success in health education.
- Belonging and equity in learning environments.
- Community-engaged health research.
- Technology and innovation for equitable health outcomes.
- Teaching and advising strategies.
- Interprofessional collaboration.
