Dr. Heidi Sanborn is an experienced program leader and faculty for academic nursing and nursing education programs and is a Certified Nurse Educator. Dr. Sanborn is lead faculty for NUR 672: Design/Delivery Methods Mediated Instruction.
Brenda Morris, EdD, MS, RN, CNE

Dr. Brenda Morris is an experienced academic leader and senior faculty in the graduate nursing education program and is a Certified Nurse Educator. Dr. Morris is lead faculty for NUR 673: Producing & Evaluating Programs for Academic and Practice Settings as well as NUR 579: Teaching Practicum.
Debra Hagler, PhD, RN, ACNS-BC, CNE, CHSE, ANEF, FANNs

Barrett Faculty Honors Advisor
Dr. Debra Hagler is board certified as a clinical nurse specialist in adult health and certified in both nursing education and healthcare simulation. She serves as Edson College's Lead Faculty Honors Advisor. She has been honored for her scholarship and national service in the areas of professional credentialing and faculty development by election as a fellow to the American Academy of Nursing Education. Dr. Hagler is the lead faculty for NUR 671: Teaching: Academic & Practice.
Karen Saewert, PhD, RN, CPHQ, ANEF

Dr. Karen Saewert champions leadership and quality-focused initiatives to advance nursing and health professions education and improve healthcare quality and safety. She joins colleagues in national and international efforts to demonstrate how the collaboration of practice and health professions education can lead to improved healthcare quality and outcomes in emerging team-based practice models. Dr. Saewert, Clinical Professor, is the lead faculty for NUR 670: Curriculum Development, which is taught across all years of the grant.
Natalie Heywood, DNP, RN, CNE

Dr. Natalie Heywood is an experienced program leader and faculty for academic nursing and nursing education programs. Dr. Heywood is a Clinical Assistant Professor, and is the lead faculty for NUR 593: Applied Project - Application of Principles of Education Related to Nursing and Healthcare, which is taught across years 3-5 of the grant.
Lorraine Hirani, DNP, RN

Dr. Lorraine Hirani is an experienced nurse educator. Dr. Hirani is the lead faculty for NUR 509~ Clinical Prevention and Population Health Practicum.
Camille Lang
Academic Success Advisor

Camille Lang, an experienced academic advisor at Edson College, currently serves as the program advisor for the graduate nursing and nursing education program tracks. She will be responsible for the student outreach and support for the grant participants. Ms. Lang's work with grant learners will begin with the admission of the second cohort in year 1 of the grant period, and will continue through the graduation of the final participant cohort at the end of grant funding.
Taylor Nance
Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation
Taylor Nance is an experienced recruiter for the nursing education program tracks at Edson College. Ms. Nance will recruit five participant cohorts to begin the program within the first three years of the grant. In addition, Ms. Nance will work with the Program Director to identify underrepresented groups to target recruitment.
