We highly encourage all students to take the TEAS to potentially safeguard their placement in case they lose their direct admission status in the final semester of prerequisites. Should an advanced student lose their direct admission status and they have a TEAS score on file, an advancement score will be calculated to determine if they can maintain their summer/fall 2026 seat. To remain eligible for advancement, all health and safety requirements must be fully completed and approved by March 2, 2026, with the exception of the drug screening, criminal background check, and the Statement of Health Clearance, which follow a separate timeline. Applicants who do not complete their required items by March 2 will be classified as late applicants and will only be considered for advancement if all requirements are eventually met and if space permits. Students who are identified for advancement or alternate status must then complete the remaining health and safety items, including the drug screening, criminal background check, and Statement of Health Clearance, by March 27, 2026 to maintain their eligibility. To support you in completing your health and safety requirements, please plan to attend at least one Health and Safety Drop-In Session. Have you applied previously? - Select -YesNo Will you be participating in a study abroad program in the spring 2026 semester? If yes, please contact your advisor for guidance on completing all requirements in time for consideration. - Select -Yes, through ASU Study Abroad ProgramYes, outside of ASUNo I acknowledge that I have read and understand the contents of the summer/fall 2026 advancement guide for the clinical nursing program, including all linked documents. I acknowledge that it is highly recommended that my application, including my course information worksheet (CIW), is reviewed by an Edson College academic advisor before submitting it to ensure all items have been successfully submitted. If I decline to have my application materials reviewed before submission, I understand that my application may be withdrawn if there are missing/incomplete materials. I acknowledge that if I provided false information on this application, I may be withdrawn from the clinical nursing program at any time. I understand that only completed applications with all necessary documentation submitted by the deadlines will be considered for advancement. Academic Integrity: Failure to provide accurate information on your application will be deemed in violation of the academic integrity policy which will result in forfeiture of your application. https://provost.asu.edu/academic-integrity The anticipated timeline for notifying students of their advancement status is March 13, 2026. Notification of advancement, and all other correspondence, will be sent via email. I am responsible to ensure proper access to my e-mail account, and that it is accessed, read, and acted upon in a timely manner. It is my responsibility to seek technical support to address email issues. I acknowledge that to be considered for advancement, I must create a Complio account by the priority advancement deadline and meet all health and safety requirements in Complio by March 2, 2026 except for the drug screening, criminal background check and statement of health clearance. If I am selected to advance, or if I am selected as an alternate, I acknowledge that the remaining health and safety requirements (including the drug screening, criminal background check and statement of health clearance) will be due by March 27, 2026. This date is subject to change and the final deadline will be shared in advancement status notices. I understand that if I do not meet the health and safety requirements by the provided final deadline, my space in the program will be forfeited. I acknowledge that if I advance to the nursing program, my clinical schedule will vary from semester to semester, and even within semesters. Additionally, because clinical placement isn’t determined until each semester begins, it is not possible for faculty or staff to inform students of their clinical schedule in advance. Clinical and classroom experiences may be scheduled during the daytime, evening, overnights or on weekends seven days a week, and maybe for as long as 12-hour time periods. Due to the high demand for and limited supply of clinical practice experiences, I understand that flexibility in scheduling these learning experiences is expected and that the college cannot accommodate scheduling requests. A confirmation email will be sent after submitting this Clinical Nursing Advancement Application. Check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation email. Please email [email protected] if you would like to ensure that your application was received if no confirmation was sent. Please do not submit an additional application. It’s the applicant’s responsibility to ensure proper submission. CAPTCHA Math question 8 + 9 = Solve this simple math problem and enter the result. E.g. for 1+3, enter 4.
