Internships

Community Partners

ASU partners with multiple health organizations that are willing to provide internship opportunities both locally and across the nation.

Students are expected to have their internship opportunity initiated, selected, and identified at least one semester before the start of the course.

If students are already employed; they cannot use their current employer to satisfy the internship requirement unless the placement is in a different part of the company.

Both in-person and remote opportunities are acceptable.

Unfortunately, we do not offer credit for ongoing work or an internship already in progress.  If your internship changes, we may be able to offer credit for a “new” internship with your employer if you can provide an updated job description to show the new/different projects. However, only hours worked under the new project will count towards the credit hour requirement.
