Engagement Opportunities

Become an Edson College Alumni Volunteer

As an alum of Edson College, one of the best ways to stay connected with the college is by volunteering at one of our various events held throughout the year. Some of the annual events we invite alumni to volunteer at include the ASU Homecoming festivities and our Open Door event in the spring. From helping staff a first-aid tent, to helping take blood pressures at outreach activities, to serving on an alumni panel and even volunteering to be a patient for simulation, there are multiple opportunities to fit your interest.

One of the best ways you can stay connected and support the college is by volunteering your time and expertise. If you are interested in getting involved and becoming an official Edson College volunteer, please complete this form.

Volunteers will help run activity booths, answer questions about learning principles, and most importantly, have fun doing it! Sign up to volunteer today.

More details on our planned activities and event logistics will be available soon! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact edsoncollege.events@asu.edu.

Home at Edson: Fostering a Sense of Togetherness

The Council on Inclusive Engagement at Edson College is planning a student summit called Home at Edson: Fostering a Sense of Togetherness on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The summit aims to bring our diverse student community together to share their experiences, foster a sense of belonging, and connect with alumni and professional organizations representing inclusivity and equity.

As part of the summit, we are excited to host a Chill and Chat session from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., where students can engage in informal, meaningful conversations with professionals like you and members of your organizations who inspire positive change in their fields. This session will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • Share insights about your organization’s mission and initiatives.
  • Offer guidance to students exploring career paths in nursing and health care.
  • Connect with students from historically marginalized backgrounds who are eager to build their networks.

Your participation would play a key role in showing our students the possibilities that lie ahead and how they can contribute to organizations like yours.

Date: Saturday, Feb. 22.

Time: Chill and Chat session runs from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Location: Health North 101 (Innovation Auditorium)
