PhD Funding Support Opportunities

Earning a PhD in Nursing and Healthcare Innovation is an investment in your long term success and earning potential.

To help you finance your doctoral education, a number of funding opportunities are available from Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, including Research Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships, scholarships, and University Block Grants.

Edson College also offers students in the PhD Program dissertation fellowships, seed research grant funding, and travel grants for professional and academic conferences. The ASU Graduate College also offers numerous funding opportunities for graduate students.

Financial Aid
ASU has many financial aid options. Almost everyone, regardless of income, can qualify for some form of financial aid. In fact, more than 70 percent of all ASU students receive some form of financial assistance every year.

Nurse Faculty Loan Program
PhD students with a nursing background are eligible to apply for the Nurse Faculty Loan Program to help finance their degree.
