Through the health care compliance and regulations degree, as well as other programs, Edson College is proud to be part of developing the next group of health care leaders trained in compliance.
Edson College students who successfully complete the health care compliance and regulations program maintaining a GPA of B or higher, receive a one-year waiver of the standard work experience and CEU requirements needed to sit for the following CCB certification exams:
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance -CHC™
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance -CHPC™
- Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance -CHRC™
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional -CCEP™
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – International -CCEP-I™
In addition, students also receive benefits from the Health Care Compliance Association, the premier association representing compliance professionals. Additional benefits include such things as: discounts on student memberships, an array of conferences to develop their specialty and networking tools to help them carve their path to their desired career and for every stage in their professional development in compliance.
Since 1999 the Compliance Certification Board has developed criteria to determine competence in the practice of compliance and ethics across various industries and specialty areas, and recognizes individuals meeting these criteria through its compliance certification programs. CCB is an independent body made up of compliance and ethics professionals who determine what obligations you need to fulfill prior to and after certification.
