Degree Programs

Accelerated BSN

The Accelerated BSN clinical nursing program is a full-time, 12-month upper-division clinical nursing program designed for students with a bachelor’s degree in another discipline who wish to become a Registered Nurse (RN) by completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current Edson College first-bachelor’s degree seeking students who meet eligibility requirements may also be considered for the Accelerated BSN.
The Accelerated BSN starts twice per year – once in the spring (January) at ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus and once in the fall (August) at ASU at Lake Havasu. Admission is competitive and space is limited.
Students in the Downtown Phoenix campus cohort start the program in January and graduate with their BSN in December. Students in the ASU at Lake Havasu cohort start the program in August and graduate with their BSN the following August. Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN to gain licensure as a Registered Nurse.
