It’s been a fun and hectic few days here, but it’s safe to say that I am so excited to be here. Since my last post, I had arrived in Lima and made my way to Cusco! I was greeted by our fantastic partner Kaya, who picked me up from the airport and brought me to the hotel we will be staying for the next 3 weeks. On the drive to the hotel, I was mesmerized by the life and amazing views. It really hit me that I am finally in Peru! Cusco is filled with so much life, diversity and culture.

Nursing Education Exchange (NEXus) Program

The Arizona State University (ASU) Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation is a member of the Nursing Education Exchange (NEXus). NEXus is a collaboration between participating doctoral programs in nursing that allows doctoral students enrolled at member colleges and universities to take courses for a common price that may not be offered at a student's home institution.

A crisis never feels like a great time to prepare for what the future needs. But in nursing education, we can’t afford not to think ahead if we hope to continue a legacy of advancing health and well-being among diverse patient populations.

Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation is pleased to announce the competition for the Edson Discovery Pilot Awards for Dementia Caregiving. The awards are made possible by the generosity of Charlene and Orin Edson and are administered by Edson Chair in Dementia Translational Nursing Science.

There are 9 courses in our program. Watch the videos below to learn about each course and what to expect. The required textbooks are listed below for each course video. You may consider buying your books instead of renting when they are used in more than one class. Note that you will not need any of the additional materials (CDs, online content) for these books.  Older editions may be less expensive, but you may not have the same content than what is expected in your course. The total cost of books new from the ASU Bookstore is $530.75.
