The Ten Principles of an Age-Friendly University drive the work of the Age-Friendly University Global Network. Collectively, they aim to enhance the experience and inclusivity of institutes of higher education to engage individuals across the lifespan.
We are living longer than ever before. By 2034, people over age 65 will outnumber those under 18 for the first time in U.S. history. These demographic changes will have a profound impact on the future of education. As engines of research and innovation, higher education institutions are uniquely positioned to re-imagine education across the lifespan.
Edson Generations was a free, full-day, interactive campus experience designed for students in grades 7–12 to explore life as an Edson College student.
Participants had engaged in simulation demonstrations with current nursing students, toured the Downtown Phoenix campus, learn about degree programs and career opportunities, and experienced a cutting-edge virtual reality health care activity. This event is not currently being hosted but may return in the future.

This special event honors graduates who have reached the milestone of 50 years since their graduation. These alumni, known as Golden Graduates, are invited back to campus to reconnect, reminisce, and relive their cherished memories.
